The General Manager of West Blue Consulting, Kingsley Abeyieh has urged the public to embrace the habit of learning as it will help them to understand and appreciate issues better.

He advised parents to ensure they imbibe African values in their children so they do not drift away from their traditions.

Mr Abeyieh was speaking at a media briefing on the e-Ananse Library Project which is a new concept being introduced in Public Libraries.

The e-Ananse libraries are new concepts in the public libraries of Ghana which seek to provide people with the relevant cultural resources that celebrate the African heritage.

They are also to revitalize the county’s reading culture as well as contribute to the development of a literate society where Ghanaians will be supported and inspired to read more.

The General Manager of West Blue Consulting, Kingsley Abeyieh asked parents to encourage their children to read more books written by Africans.

The Project Consultant of the e-Ananse libraries, Sylvia Arthur gave an overview of the library.

Presently, there are e-Ananse Libraries at Legon and Osu. To patronize them one needs to become a member by registering with a fee of GH¢20.00 for adults per year and GH¢10.00 for children annually.
