Botswana issues travel advisory to citizens over xenophobic attacks in SA

The government of Botswana is informing all its citizens travelling to South Africa to exercise extreme caution.

The country’s Ministry of International Affairs and Cooperation announced this in a statement released via Twitter Wednesday (September 4).

The statement further cautioned its citizens residing in South Africa to avoid volatile and high risk areas.
