Ghana is rated to have scored the highest in Aviation safety oversight in Africa.
Ghana Civil Aviation Authority had provisional effective implementation rate of 89.89 per cent.
The International Civil Aviation Organisation, ICAO, concluded its coordinated validation of corrective measures undertaken by Ghana on April 3 this year, in line with the UN Aviation Agency’s Universal safety oversight Aided programme.
Director, Safety Regulation and Security at the GCAA Daniel Acquah told GBC’s George Ankrah that the recognition would spur the Authority on to do more to ensure safety and security at the Airport.
