Ag IGP interdicts officers who tortured man in custody

Acting Inspector General of Police, (IGP), James Oppong-Boanuh, has asked for the two police officers who allegedly tortured a man in their custody to be interdicted.

The two officers were captured in a video that has gone viral,  torturing the man.

The officers are General Sergeant Patrick Amoako and General Lance Corporal Isaac Marfo.

They are seen in the video using belts to beat a man accused by his employer of stealing GH¢1,600.
