The first edition of the ‘MS GEEK Ghana’ Competition, has been launched in Accra, with a call on young women to use ICT to develop applications and softwares to address the country’s technological challenges.
Minister of Communications, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, said it is relevant to inspire, develop and build capacities of women to become problem solvers to advance technology.
This she believes will unearth hidden talents, promote innovation and contribute to the attainment of the SDGs.
