As African Development Bank President Dr. Akinwumi Adesina’s tenure draws to a gradual end in September, he visited former President Muhammadu Buhari to express his deep appreciation.
As President, Buhari supported Adesina’s nomination by President Goodluck Jonathan for election as President of the African Development Bank.
‘”He strongly stood by me in difficult times, which ensured my re-election. Thank you Sir,” Adesina said in a post after the visit.
