Gunmen have abducted six schoolgirls and two staff members from a boarding school in the northern part of Nigeria.
According to the police, the girls and staff were taken early on the morning of Thursday (October 3), from the Engravers College, a school in a remote area near Kakau Daji village in Kaduna state.
It was uncertain who had abducted the girls and the staff.
A police statement claims that the command is doing everything possible to secure the release of all the victims without harm.
