The Ghanaian Times congratulates Ghanaians on remaining peaceful and safeguarding the peace and tranquility of the country before and after the Supreme Court ruling on the 2020 election petition. The paper says it is proud of Ghanaians for always demonstrating their peaceful nature even while fighting for their rights. The Times however encourages former President Mahama and his legal team to accept the ruling of the Supreme Court, no matter how undesirable it may be to them. The paper commends the National Peace Council, religious bodies, NGOs, security services and all stakeholders for contributing to the successful hearing of the petition. It believes, the nation should focus on the betterment of the country now that the verdict has been delivered.

The Daily Graphic is elated the curtains of the 2020 Election petition has been drawn. The Paper, however, pleads with the political parties to set good examples for their followers by showing good leadership and maturity to cool the political temperature of the nation. The Graphic says Ghanaians have come to accept that the only legitimate power is that which comes from the will of the people. It therefore asks that lessons from the judgment given continue to inspire and deepen people’s commitment to democratic pluralism to enhance national cohesion.
