Beyoncé has been named a billionaire by Forbes, becoming the fifth musician to reach the milestone, according to the business magazine.
The US singer now joins a small group of artists whose wealth has crossed the billion-dollar mark, alongside Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Bruce Springsteen and her husband, Jay-Z.
Forbes attributes much of Beyoncé’s financial growth to the success of her recent tours. Her 2023 Renaissance World Tour generated close to $600m in revenue, while the Cowboy Carter tour recorded more than $400m in ticket sales, with an additional $50m earned from merchandise.
The 44-year-old artiste expanded her commercial appeal in 2024 with the release of Cowboy Carter, a country-inspired album that opened new business opportunities. These included a high-profile Christmas halftime performance at the NFL and what Forbes describes as the highest-grossing concert tour of 2025.
In its latest assessment, the magazine estimates that Beyoncé earned approximately $148m in gross income this year from touring, music catalogue revenues and endorsement deals. This placed her as the third highest-paid female musician in 2025.
Forbes notes that Beyoncé is among a growing number of entertainers whose net worths have reached ten figures in recent years. Of the 22 billionaire entertainers identified by the publication, nearly half were added to the list within the past three years.
