Ghanaians urged to uphold cultural heritage

Ghanaians have been called upon to uphold their germane cultural heritage, which gives them a unique identity.

The call was made by Bishop Charles Agyinasare, Head of Perez Chapel International.

Bishop Charles Agyinasare was speaking on Sunday, March 8, at Perez Chapel International in Accra, where a special church service was held to promote the Ghanaian cultural heritage and commemorate Ghana’s 63nd Independence anniversary.

He urged all Ghanaians to patronise made in Ghana goods and unite for a better Ghana.

The service was climaxed with a traditional food bazaar that showcased a variety of traditional Ghanaian cuisines including Kenkey, Yaake Yaake, Banku, Sobolo, Brukina, Asaana and others.

To spice up the event, members of the congregation were seen clad in various traditional attire.

Also, there were beads, bags, bracelets, chains, footwear on display.

Also, in attendance was gospel musician, Empress Gifty Osei.
