Veteran highlife musician Kojo Antwi has opened up about his creative process and nocturnal lifestyle.
In an interview on Citi FM on Thursday, February 12, 2026, Mr Music Man revealed that he finds inspiration at night, often working late and waking up as early as 3 a.m. to create music.
“I’m a man of the night, so if you speak to most of the people I work with, all my messages and all the things that I create come at night,” he noted.
Kojo Antwi’s nocturnal schedule allows him to tap into his creative flow, and he credits the night with sparking ideas for his songs. The music icon’s dedication to his craft has contributed to his enduring success in the Ghanaian music scene.
The “Dadie Anoma” hitmaker also emphasized the importance of rhythm in African culture, stating that any sound made is a rhythm and that it is an integral part of who they are as a people.
