The Minority in Parliament has joined the public in mounting pressure on the government to immediately withdraw the Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) from the school’s curriculum.

Minority leader, Haruna Iddrissu, at a news conference today said the Minority will resist any move to introduce CSE, which it believes, is a subtle way of introducing foreign cultures such as lesbianism, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) lifestyles into the country’s cultural values.

Mr Iddrissu said the Minority will be monitoring to see the government’s next line of action.
