Government has described as false, claims by the Minority in Parliament that the government has borrowed 80 billion Ghana cedis in two and a half years.
Reacting to the Minority MPs claim at a news conference in Accra, Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah said the assertion by the minority is strange and should be disregarded.
He offered some explanations and structure of money government borrowed, as well as a breakdown of government borrowing over the years.
