Speaker of Parliament summons MPs for emergency sitting

The Speaker of Parliament, Professor Mike Ocquaye, has recalled Members of Parliament (MPs) from recess in exercise of the power conferred on the Speaker by order 42(3) of the Standing Orders of Parliament.
A statement signed by the Speaker said the directive is to enable the law makers to consider among other things some urgent Parliamentary business.
The sitting starts September 24 to September 28 at 10:00 AM daily.
Parliament adjourned sine die on July 28th, 2018 and was expected to reconvene in October for the next sitting.
