UK announces £20m package to boost job creation in Ghana

The United Kingdom has announced a 20 million pounds package to create thousands of jobs in Ghana.
 
Under its new Jobs and Economic Transformation Programme, the UK seeks to assist Ghana in implementing policies that will be easier for government to create jobs, improve infrastructure and promote opportunities for local businesses to strive.
 
UK Minister for Africa, Harriett Baldwin announced this at a joint news conference at the Jubilee House.
 
An MOU between the two countries has been signed.
