Remembering Dr Kwame Nkrumah: 50 years ago today, (April 27, 2022), a Ghanaian Politician, Political theorist, and Revolutionary Leader took his bow off the world’s stage.

A Nationalist, great Pan-Africanist and intellectual icon with a unique sense of responsibility – These are some ways people have described him.

Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana’s first Prime Minister and First President in the First Republic passed on 27th April, 1972 at the age of 62.

Here’s a look back at the life of the man who rose from an academic Scholar and Activist Student to become the Leader of the first country to gain independence in sub-Saharan Africa.
