2018/2019 National Service Year ends

Outgoing National Service Personnel have been advised not to fall prey to people who promise them jobs abroad.
At a send-off ceremony held for personnel who served at the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation in Accra, the Director of Internal Audit, Peter Opoku-Mensah, urged them to rather use the skills and knowledge acquired to find themselves jobs.
He asked them to explore and seize every opportunity that come their way as opportunities abound in the country.
The send-off ceremony was to round-up the 2018/2019 National Service year for personnel who served with the State Broadcaster,GBC.
It is the second time a send-off has been organised for National Service Personnel to urge them on to be steadfast in their quest for jobs and to acknowledge their service to the GBC and the nation.
The Acting Director of Internal Audit of GBC, Peter Opoku-Mensah, entreated the outgoing personnel not depend on Government for employment but to make use of the skills and talents to find themselves jobs.
He encouraged them to network as there are opportunities out there.

Mr Opoku-Mensah tasked the outgoing personnel to be good ambassadors of GBC. More than two hundred National Service Personnel were posted to the GBC during the 2018/2019 service year.
