The Adabraka official town district of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana has presented items worth over thirty thousand Cedis to inmates of the Accra Psychiatric Hospital.
According to the District Pastor of the church, Rev Owusu Sarpong, the gesture falls in line with the Easter celebration that teaches mankind to love and give as exhibited by Jesus Christ.
The items presented include packs of food, consumables and toiletries. The senior nursing officer at the Accra Psychiatric Hospital, Madam Paulina Ntim Brakoon behalf of the hospital said thank you to the Church.
She appealed to benevolent organizations in the country to support the facility as it is in dire need of assistance.
