Director General of the Internal Audit Agency (IAA), Dr. Eric Oduro Osae, has called for the passing into law, the Internal Audit Service Bill.
This, he says, is to give the Agency prosecutorial powers to strengthen its work.
Speaking on the GBC Uniiq Breakfast Drive, Dr. Oduro Osae noted that Internal Auditors are critical in the fight against corruption.
Dr. Oduro Osae who was reacting to some financial infractions captured in the Auditor General’s report hinted that the Internal Audit Agency will collaborate with relevant state institutions to step up education on the Public Financing Management Act to ensure compliance.
