Caterers under the School Feeding Programme have confirmed they have received payments for all of their outstanding arrears, except those for the second term of 2023.
The Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta, disclosed during the Mid-Year Budget Review in Parliament on July 31, 2023, that the government had settled all arrears owed to Caterers under the programme.
The President of the National Association of School Feeding Caterers Association, Charlotte Asante, also confirmed that they had received all of their payments, except those for the second term of 2023.
According to her, they are likely to receive the 2023 arrears this week, adding that ”the payments have been consistent”.
