Dr. Archibald Letsa, Volta Regional Minister, hosted the Chief of Staff, Mrs. Akosua Frema Osei-Opare, as the Special Guest of Honour at the 11th Avazorli Festival on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Ziavi in the Ho Municipality.
The festival is held on a rotational basis among seven (7) communal groups, namely, the people of Ziavi, Ando, Tordome, Kpando Ziavi, Kpedze Todze, Botoku, and Mefe.
The 11th edition of the festival was used to raise funds, especially for the construction of residential accommodation for doctors and nurses for the proposed Ziavi Polyclinic (upgrade of the Ziavi CHPS Compound).
The Chief of Staff cut sod for the project and donated ¢50,000 as part of the Fundraising that was undertaken.
She also donated four brand new laptops to the ICT Center of the Ziavi Senior High Technical School and assured the community of government’s continued support.
