The Member of Parliament for Essikado-Ketan Constituency, Prof. Grace Ayensu-Danquah, has demonstrated her commitment to improving the lives of her constituents by organizing a donation ceremony where she distributed mattresses, trunks, books, and free sanitary pads to girls in her constituency.
The event which took place on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, was chaired by Ebusuapayin Nana Ackon of Essikado traditional areas and Nana Ngyresia.

It brought together prominent traditional leaders, the District Educational Director of the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly (STMA), religious dignitaries, assembly members, constituency executives,branch executives and the general public.
Prof. Ayensu-Danquah, who is also the Deputy Minister of Health, was lauded for her pioneering role in implementing social intervention activities in the Secondi-Takoradi Metropolitan area.

In her address, she encouraged students to focus on their studies, urging them to seize the opportunities available to them. She also commended parents for their unwavering support and pledged to continue providing educational support to improve human capacity and educational standards within the constituency.
A highlight of the event was the announcement she made of a free bus service for day students within the constituency, which is set to commence next week to ease transportation challenges for the students and promote education in the area.
The MP’s gesture was met with gratitude from the beneficiaries and the general public, who appreciated her efforts in enhancing the well-being and education of her constituents.
