The Western Regional Office of the Fire Service says it will take a day or two to establish the cause of the fire that razed down a warehouse and other properties closed to the central business district in Takoradi.
The fire, which started around 1 am was put out by the service this morning.
A radio station and other shops operating in the area were also affected by the fire.
Speaking to GBC’s Radio Ghana, the Western Regional Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Fire Service, Emmanuel Bonnie said an investigation team has been dispatched to the area to take an inventory of the damaged property.
