Forestry Commission gets new CEO, Board member

The Hon. Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Kwaku Asomah-Cheremeh, has charged the newly sworn-in CEO of the Forestry Commission Mr. John Allotey and Togbega Tsedze Atakora VII, Paramount Chief of Alavanyo Traditional Area, who was also sworn in as a Board member of the Commission to be bold, forthright and work assiduously to uplift the Commission.

Mr John Allotey until his appointment was the Acting CEO after the demise of Mr. Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, popularly known as “Sir John” the Substantive CEO of the Commission.

The Hon. Minister said this when he sworn in the two personalities at a brief ceremony on Monday, August 24.
