Ghana Journalists Association to establish Hall of Fame

The Ghana Journalists Association will be 70 next year.

The celebration which will be launched next month will see the Association establishing a hall of fame into which hardworking, dedicated and loyal members will be admitted into.

The President of GJA Roland Affail Monney disclosed this when management of Kempiski Gold Coast Hotel hosted senior journalist to a soiree in Accra.

Mr monney said the GJA will next year pursue it unionisation programme intensively to ensure members get full benefits from their employment.

The General Manager of Kempiski Gold Coast Hotel, Manish Nambiar disclosed that the Ghana Tourists Board has majority shares in Kempiski which is the oldest Hospitality management company in the world and is the biggest in Ghana.

He said the Hotel has about 80 percent of its staff being Ghanaian.
