The Police Administration has held a flag raising and wreath laying ceremony for the 2025 Police Memorial Day for the tragic passing of 20 personnel in line of duty in 2025 at the NationalPolice Training School at Tesano in Accra.
Eight have their names engraved on the Wall of Honour while the remaining 14 had theirs in the Memorial Book of Honour. President John Mahama lighted the Pepertual Flame.

Four wreaths were laid in memory of the fallen police heroes. President Mahama laid the first wreath on behalf of the government and people of Ghana.

The IGP, Christian Tetteh Yohuno, laid the second wreath on behalf of the Ghana Police Service.
A representative for the bereaved families laid the third wreath and a representative of the traditional authorities laid the fourth wreath. There was a roll call of the fallen police personnel.
A two minute silence was observed after which the bugler sounded the reveille while the flags were raised.
President Mahama interacted with the bereaved families and consoled them. The President signed the Book of Condolence and inspected the cenotaph.
