The Ghana Publishing Company Limited (GPCL) has unveiled a newly designed version of the national gazette, featuring advanced security enhancements aimed at combating forgery and reinforcing the authenticity of official publications.

As the sole publisher of gazettes in the country, GPCL has taken a significant step to modernize its output.

The revamped gazette now includes a gold-coloured Coat of Arms embedded with specialized security elements and a distinct watermark features that make replication through unauthorized or conventional means virtually impossible.

According to a Press statement from the company, these improvements are part of a broader strategy to protect the integrity of state-sanctioned information and curb the circulation of fake gazettes. The new design offers a visible mark of authenticity, which GPCL says institutions and the general public can trust.

This security upgrade reinforces GPCL’s role as a trusted custodian of official information and a key partner in promoting good governance and legal certainty in Ghana,” the statement stated.
