Ghana is playing host to the 2019 International Youth Diplomacy Conference in the capital Accra.
The five-day event will help sharpen the diplomatic careers, discuss opportunities, youth dynamics, technological drive, and challenges facing the youth.
This year’s conference is dubbed “Uniting African Youth towards The Africa We Want” and the United Nations General Assembly simulation theme is ‘Diplomacy; Youth Empowerment for Sustainable Development.’
International Youth Diplomacy Conference (IYDC) is a flagship event of Innovation for Empowerment and Development (IFED) Global.
It is an innovation of the Model United Nations Conference. A simulation of the United Nations General Assembly, Security Council and other agencies under the United Nations.
It combines youths across Africa and beyond to discuss pertinent issues of Global interest.
IYDC, mostly held in Accra, is educative as well as entertaining.
Over 1000 youth leaders from 54 Countries will gather in Accra for this year’s IYDC.
