The Ministry of Information has been directed to intervene in GBC’s debt to the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), by liaising with the Ministry of Finance for an amicable settlement.
This was the outcome of a meeting between the National Media Commission (NMC) and the President at the Jubilee House in Accra on Wednesday (November 6, 2019).
Chairman of the NMC, Yaw Boadu-Ayeboafoh, explained the nature of GBC’s debt to ECG at the meeting.
President Akufo-Addo referred the issue to the Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, who was present, to find a solution to the problem.
