Deputy Managing Director of the ECG, Kwame Agyeman-Budu has been named successor to substantive Managing Director, (MD), Samuel Boakye Appiah who has been asked to vacate his post after serving for almost 3 years.
An engineer with over 28 years experience in the energy sector, the new MD, Kwame Agyeman Budu, was until his appointment the Deputy MD.
He was once the Customer Project Manager in the Energy Service Department of the Consolidated Edison Company of New York, the largest utility company in the US.
Mr. Agyeman-Budu’s years of experience in the energy industry cut across areas of Distributed Generation.
Ing. Kwame Agyeman-Budu has a Master’s Degree in Energy Management from the New York Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Telecommunications from the New York City College of Technology among a host of other academic qualifications.
