The chiefs and people of the Komenda Traditional Area have enstooled Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang as Owoabrempong Kru-Kow I during the 2025 Komendaman Nyeyi Festival on Saturday, September 13, 2025.
The new stool name is a testament to her outstanding contributions to education and national development, as well as her commitment to leadership and service as a daughter of the soil.
The colorful ceremony featured vibrant cultural displays, traditional drumming, and dance, as the people of Komenda warmly welcomed Professor Opoku-Agyemang into their fold as a respected leader and development partner.
The chiefs commended the Vice President for her tireless efforts to improve the lives of Ghanaians and expressed hope that her enstoolment would strengthen the bond between the state and traditional authorities.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang expressed her humility and gratitude for being enstooled as Owoabrempong Kru-Kow I of Komenda, describing the honour as a sacred and historic moment.
