The Management of Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) has refuted reports suggesting Social Security contributions are being diverted.
A statement issued by SSNIT asked contributors not to be alarmed and gave assurance that all contributions and pensions are safe.
It noted that systems put in place by the Trust make it impossible for contributions of workers to be diverted into treasury bill for personal gain of some individuals as being speculated.
