Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Kwaku Asomah Cheremeh has denied the sale of Aviation Lands to private developers.

Giving a detailed explanation on the status of State Lands, he said part of the said lands especially those at La-TS where the AU village is located, La Nkwantanang and La Wireless have been divided into three with a part belonging to government, the La Traditional Authority and the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, GCAA.

The Minister who was speaking at the Meet-The-Press series in Accra was reacting to claims by staff of the GCAA that their lands are being sold to private developers, which according to them is affecting their operations.

He questioned the locus for their claims saying the staff lack understanding of the situation on the ground.
