In a collaborative move to sanitize Ghana’s media landscape, the Nation Media Commission (NMC) and the National Communication Authority (NCA) have taken robust measures to crack down on imposters such as money doublers, ritualists, and charlatans infiltrating the nation’s airwaves.

The initiative, as part of a comprehensive effort to sanitize broadcasting content in country, was announced on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.

This initiative has the establishment of the Broadcasting Monitoring Center, a specialized center tasked with regulating offensive media content which are often left unchecked.

A toll-free number has been activated, enabling vigilant media consumers to report egregious media content promptly and they can do so by dialing *0800419666*.
