Ghana’s Minister of Justice and Attorney-General, Dr. Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, has revealed that after painstaking investigations conducted into the National Service Authority (NSA) ghost names scandal, the country lost over GHC 548 million in six years, which is between the periods of 2018 to 2024.

Speaking at a press briefing on Friday, June 13, 2025, Dr. Ayine gave a breakdown of the monies which he believes were siphoned by suspects in the case.
