Ogyeahohuo Yaw Gyebi II is new President of National House of Chiefs

The National House of Chiefs has elected Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II as the new President of the House.

He defeated the incumbent President Togbe Afede by 47 votes to 25. The House also elected Lawra Naaba Francis Kaabo as the Vice President.

He also beat the incumbent Vice President Daasebre Kwebu Ewusi by 44 votes to 28.

Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi in his acceptance speech promised to work hard to make the chieftaincy institution a vibrant one to champion national development aspirations.
