A part of the ceiling at the Kumasi City Mall has caved in.
The incident happened Tuesday morning at the food court area of the Mall.
It happened at a time the shops in the mall were about to open for business. But the Ashanti Regional Director of NADMO, Kwabena Nsenkyire says the defect on the Mall has not caused any harm to either patrons or staff of the facility.
At the time GBC’s Correspondent arrived at the scene, the debris had been cleared and business had started.
Officials of NADMO, the Asokwa Police, EPA, internal security and some management staff were around to ensure safety of people around.
