President Akufo-Addo has handed over one hundred buses to STC.
The buses procured with the IGF of the company is expected to improve the services of the Company.
On the third day of the Greater Accra regional tour, President Akufo-Addo challenged other state institutions to emulate that of STC and become profitable.
Managing Director of STC, Nana Akomea thanked the President for the support during the peak of the COVID-19 period. He said the closure of the borders has affected the operations of the STC as 50 percent of its revenue is generated outside from outside the country.
Transport Minister, Isaac Kweku Asiamah, asked transport operators to observe road safety protocols.
The procurement of the buses was financed by ADB.
