Ghana’s diaspora community has been called upon to continue representing the country with pride and to consider bringing their skills, resources, and networks back home to contribute to Ghana’s development.
In a New Year message to Ghanaians, President John Dramani Mahama emphasized the crucial role Ghanaians abroad play as global ambassadors, urging them to leverage their positions to promote Ghana’s interests and support its growth.
This call comes as part of efforts to strengthen Ghana’s international presence and foster economic development.
“To our diaspora community, you are Ghana’s Global Ambassadors. Continue to make us proud wherever you are. When you can, bring your skills back home, your resources and network, please do so. Ghana needs you”, he said.
