The National President of Women in Poultry Value Chain, Ghana, Victoria Norgbey has called on stakeholders in the poultry industry to take a second look at supporting women in the sector.
Her remarks, fall in line with government’s inclusive empowerment agenda to positively contribute to economic development.
Speaking to GBC’s Radio Ghana, Mrs. Norgbey said in line with this year’s celebration of International Women’s Day, the organization seeks to sensitize the public and stakeholders in the business to champion equal inclusion.
It is also to help contribute to the development of the Sustainable Development Goals, especially Goal One and 10 which elaborates on Gender Equality and Poverty Reduction.
