Tumu residents worried about inaccessible roads

Residents of Tumu, in the Sisaala East Municipality of the Upper West Region are worried about a number of things. Topmost is the deplorable nature of their roads.
The culverts are broken and water inundates everywhere submerging some of the walkways anytime the rains are heavy.

A visit to the vicinity, exposed in particular the Diglafuro Community and that of the Tumu College of Education roads.

Some of the people in the town said, ” we have held series of meetings , but to no avail”.

Mr. Shaibu explained how roads are awarded to several contractors without positive results.

Both Mr. Shaibu and residents of Diglafuro in the Tumu Zongo Extension Electoral Area jointly appealed to the government to as a matter of urgency come to their aid.
