VEEP unveils two funds to support efforts towards realizing SDGs by 2030

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has unveiled two funds to support national efforts towards realizing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
The two funds, the SDG delivery fund and the Green fund will also provide funding for activities geared towards achieving the goals.
The SDG Delivery Fund is expected to raise 500 million cedis a year, while the Green Fund is targeting to generate one billion cedis in five years.
Vice President Bawumia said the establishment of the fund is a game changer to achieve the SDGs.
Addressing the Second Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) Breakfast Meeting on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Vice President Dr. Bawumia said Ghana must work hard to earn the enviable title of being the first country on the African continent to have achieved all 17 SDGs by the year 2030.
