Youth urged to venture into farming

The Second National Best Farmer for 2019, Alhaji Antiku Abdulai has advised the youth to pursue farming as their number one business before venturing into other areas.

He gave the advice at the Wa Municipal Farmers’ Day at Kpongu where a 47-year-old farmer from the community, Mohamed Imori was adjudged the overall best farmer.

Correspondent Emmanuel Mensah-Abludo reports that Obaaga Sam Farms took the first runner up position with Nurideen Kassim emerging the second runner up.

A Resident of Boli, Madam Safia Osman was recognized as the Best Municipal Woman Farmer.
