The Zongo Development Fund has in collaboration with Qatar Charity, Ghana donated 20 cattle to about 400 Zongo communities to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha.
Deputy CEO in charge of operations at the Zongo Development Fund, Alhaji Baba Sadiq Yakubu told GBC’s Radio Ghana that, the fund which is intended to alleviate the plight of Zongo dwellers has partnered similar organisations to provide incentives to the people in order to make them feel part of the occasion.
The Projects Engineer of Qatar Charity, Ghana, Ishmail Sualah Haari said the organisation partnered the Zongo Development Fund because they share in its vision of bringing relief to Zongo dwellers.
Beneficiaries who could not hide their joy expressed gratitude for the gesture.
