Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta’s appeal to Ghanaians to contribute to the construction of the cathedral through the establishment of a ‘¢100-a-Month Club’ has received immense public backlash.
According to some Ghanaians, the move to raise funds from one million people for the project is only a ploy by government to exploit them.
