Sanitation Minister Nominee Cecelia Dapaah, says Accra is on course to becoming the cleanest city in Africa. Taking her turn at the vetting before the Appointments Committee in Accra, Madam Dapaah, said a lot of work has gone down in making this become a reality.
Madam Dapaah who gave the state of the Teshie Desalination plant also proposed the setting up of a sanitation fund.
The Sanitation Minister Nominee spoke of government’s water for all programme which she said will reach every nook and cranny with potable water.
She gave the status of the Yendi water project, Upper East water project and other water projects currently ongoing in the country.
