The Bono Regional Director of Veterinary Services, Dr. Donald Joakim Darko, has been explaining the reason for the recurrence of the African Swine Flu in parts of the country despite claims that it has been contained.
“In some cases, the pigs will be having the disease, but will not show any symptoms just like covid-19. It could also be that someone has taken the affected pork to an area and in the process of preparing food with it, contaminates the environment,” according to the Bono Regional Director of Veterinary Services, Dr. Donald Joakim Darko.
