Damongo SHS has taken delivery of food items following calls for the government to come to their aid after several complaints of lack of food for students.
Senior Manager of Corporate Affairs at the National Food Buffer Stock Emmanuel Arthur told Nathaniel Nartey that the school received food items yesterday with more expected today.
Responding to questions on the delay in food supply to Damongo SHS, Mr. Arthur described it as an isolated case while pointing to some challenges which include the breakdown of logistics.
Mr. Arthur said the students now have enough food to last for the rest of the term.
