One of two Enumerators in the ongoing 2021 Population and Housing Census is reported to have died at Saaka in the Upper East Region.
Faisal Issah, and Gifty Abane, were involved in an accident yesterday while heading to Googo and Tambiugu communities in Zebilla.
The two were on a motorcycle that crashed into a car parked by the side of the road.
Faisal Issah, a Nurse, unfortunately, died on the spot, while Gifty Abane, a Teacher sustained some injuries.
Gifty has been admitted at the Zebilla District Hospital for treatment, while the remains of Faisal Issah have been released to his family for burial.
Reports say the day’s counting was halted, following the accident.
