The Chief Executive Officer of the Simon Diedong Dombo Foundation, Dr Gabriel Gbiel Benarkuu, has urged Ghanaians to reflect on the legacy of Chief SD Dombo’s unwavering commitment to integrity and innovation in Ghana’s health and security development.
He said integrity and innovation are the keys to unlocking Ghana’s full potential and Ghanaians must strive to emulate his example in order to build a brighter future for all.
Dr Benarkuu stated that the former Leader selflessness, compassion, and vision have left an indelible mark on our nation.
The CEO of SD Dombo Foundation. Dr Gabriel Gbiel Benarkuu, who was speaking on integrity and innovation at the sidelines of health screening at Duori, said Chief SD Dombo’s unshakeable integrity has inspired generations of leaders and citizens alike.
He noted that his dedication to truth, transparency, and accountability has set a high standard for public service. Dr Benarkuu was emphatic that his legacy is a reminder that integrity is the foundation upon which trust, progress, and prosperity are built.
Touching on innovation, Dr Benarkuu observed that Chief SD Dombo’s innovative approach to healthcare and security has improved the lives of countless Ghanaians, and his pioneering spirit has inspired new solutions to age-old challenges.
He added that his commitment to progress has left a lasting impact on our nation’s development. The foundation he said shall be carrying out programs in line with its strategic development objectives, which are: Health for all, Education for all, Agriculture and Environmental governance, partnerships for development, Research and development, and appreciative leadership.
The health screening was in honour of Chief SD Dombo’s legacy, and his Foundation’s 25th anniversary. Over 250 people from Duori and its adjoining communities came to check their health status. About 10 percent of the cases screened turned positive for hepatitis B. Dr Benarkuu described the development as worrying.
